As we continue unpacking this Kingdom Reset, I want to quote something I sent out in February 2019:

It is very clear from the gospels, that Jesus was really concerned that the “yeast of the Pharisees, Sadducees and Herodians” did not infect His church. Those three groups, the religious, the wealthy and the political, have historically held the power in many nations, and the key word is power – which is so often the DNA of the world systems. (Reaching back into that ungodly dominion mindset).

God’s word is very clear – Hebrews 12: 26-28 ‘yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heavens’ ….this indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken will remain.. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and fear’.

Resounding above all the circumstances right now, is the Kingdom call – this Kingdom which cannot be shaken. It is a day to pray for the Kingdom to come in all its glory and fullness, embracing the call for salvation, but also bringing righteousness, mercy, truth and justice to the earth. The DNA of God’s Kingdom is very different from the worlds systems and kingdoms, and yes, it is a Spiritual Kingdom, but it will touch and affect every part of society.

God’s key to a nation is His church and He is restoring and rebuilding the very foundations of His church, reminding and revisiting truths; healing, delivering and releasing – that in these days we will again be those who stand in our God given authority, to bind and to loose, to allow and to disallow – that the gates of hell will not prevail.

As everything shifts and moves, changes take place, and voids open up, God is calling His people to see from His perspective and stand in the assurance of His promises, His covenant and His blessings. To recognise and understand that we are those who have the potential to fill those voids with everything from love and hope to the righteousness, peace and justice of the Kingdom.

Jesus made the coming of the Kingdom His priority, and He told His disciples to ‘seek first the Kingdom of God’ and to pray, “Kingdom Come”.

Declaration

The Lord is the Judge, the Lord is the Lawgiver, and the Lord is the King” Isaiah 33:22

We come into agreement with God’s word, that “righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne,” and we thank Him for His desire to release mercy and not judgment. We thank Him for those called in these days to come before Him as the righteous Judge, that past sins might be forgiven, and decrees changed.

We honour and we celebrate all that’s been done in past times by God’s people across this nation, church planting, mission, transformation and social care, but now we declare this is a different day. We decree and declare; God is taking His people back to the very roots and foundations of His gospel; releasing and empowering a people who will move in the mandate of this season – to make disciples of all nations.

We declare God’s desire for His Kingdom to be manifest is “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” We decree and declare as God’s Spirit moves in this season, His people across this land are becoming the fullness of who He has made them to be. We declare faith will increase and Godly vision will increase. We declare the Ekklesia will arise, and the reformers will take their places in every arena of this land.  Ephesians 3:20.

We come into agreement with Romans 8:19 and we declare ‘the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.’  We declare in this day those who know the majesty and power of their God are arising – those who will walk with the power of His Presence upon them and in their true identity as both kings and priests.

Blog

For many the issue of Dominion is difficult. It has echoes of Dominionism, or the abuses of Power by both men and the ancient Empires. However, if you read Part 1 of this blog you will understand that this is not what God intended when He gave His people dominion on the earth.

For the United Kingdom and Commonwealth nations, this year 2022, marks the 120th Anniversary of the first celebrations of the British Empire, which were actually held in schools.

120 is a Kingdom Government number, and over the next few posts we will be unpacking and praying into some of the aspects of what that means. Essentially though, of course it is about the Church. There are certain people to whom God gives special authority to influence or to pray for natural Governments, but that isn’t only what Jesus originally intended.

The word for church was first used by Jesus in Matthew 16. He had been walking with some of His disciples when He asks Peter, ‘Who do you say I am?’  Peter responds with what is a fresh revelation – Jesus, You’re the Messiah! Peter had recognised the true identity of Jesus. He also knew the scriptures and that the prophet Isaiah had spoken of this man who was to come, who would carry  titles, such as ‘Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. And of the Increase of His government and peace there will be no end.’

As Peter gives his revelation, Jesus responds immediately, on this revelation – I will build My Church! The word for Church used here is actually Ekklesia, a word that was not new, but was in use in the days of Jesus.  The Ekklesia were the governmental assemblies of some of the ancient cities of Greece but also of the free cities in Israel. These assemblies, made up by citizens of those places, had the authority to make laws, decide on city officials and even decide whether to engage in war or not. So, when Jesus used this word which we translated church – it had governmental connotations.

Jesus came with a Kingdom, and His Church are to be the government of that Kingdom. God is calling up His people to step into the role He has given to them – those who will pray and act according to the principles and values of His Kingdom, not according to their personal perspectives, emotions or the values of the world. This is not the only function of the church, but nevertheless, it is one of the foundational concepts.

So, today we go back to some of the initial declarations we released:

Declaration

In this day of shifts and change in our land, we decree and declare in this nation, Your Kingdom government will be established as a display of Your glory upon the earth – standing on the truth, that You are the true Judge, Lawgiver and King.

Lord, even as this is the time for Your Government to be established, we thank You for every shift, change and breakthrough in line with Your Spirit which has been released. We decree and declare Your people will continue to press into You for the fullness of Your purpose and plans, and we speak strength and vision to them in Jesus Name – that they will stand in their true identity, move in the uniqueness of their God given call, releasing life to the world around them and establishing Your principles upon the earth. We declare Your truth will be released to Your people and through Your people, that every void of understanding will be filled by Your counsel and Your word.

We come into agreement with Proverbs 8:1 “can’t you hear the voice of wisdom? From the tops of the mountains of influence she speaks into the gateways of the glorious city. At the place where pathways merge, at the entrance of every portal, there she stands, ready to impart understanding, shouting aloud to all who enter…”.

Now Lord, in this season of war, we declare the Parliament of the United Kingdom, will align with the wisdom of Heaven, demonstrating the Kingdom values of honour, righteousness and integrity; that a new level of statesmanship will arise, transforming personal and political agendas; and men and women across all parties will work for the common good, uniting behind God-given vision. We  decree and declare both Houses of Parliament will come into God- Given order, recognising and submitting to Jesus Christ as the Highest Authority in Heaven and Earth, to His word, His truth and His values.

A note from the author

As I continue to watch the events across the world unfold, I have been reminded of a declaration we have made repeatedly, that God is ‘re-aligning nations’, and that as the United Kingdom, we would be positioned for His blessing not only for ourselves, but that we might be a blessing to other nations. We must continue to pray for the Ukraine/ Russia crisis, but today – I want to look at something that is I believe, very much in the heart of God for this time.

This blog is a word I released last year, as you read it and use the prayers at the end, please do so for yourself, your community, your church and the nation.

The Issue of Dominion – A Reset for Restoration.  March 2021

In December 2020, God spoke to me about an ancient key He was releasing – as I have prayed and waited on God, I believe this is to do with the re-setting of what has been a corrupted version of the ‘dominion’ mandate back to the Biblical gift which it was intended to be. This is not about Dominionism, or domination of one upon the other, but the release of a gift which stewards out of God’s heart, for the well-being of those concerned.

Some of what is written below will not be new to many, but I have included it with what I believe is fresh revelation, so that when we come to make the declaration at the end – there is a corporate understanding.

Dominion – Introduction

This is a new era, the sound resounding over this era, is the sound of the era of the Kingdom, prophesied in Daniel 4:3 – ‘How great are His signs, and how mighty His wonders!  His Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation’ and again in Daniel 7:14 ‘then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.  His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away’.

The focus of the Holy Spirit is increasingly upon this Kingdom that not only will a great Revival be released, but also a restoration of the truths of His word, and the righteousness, justice, and peace of this Kingdom of God – on earth as it is in Heaven.

Dominion – a Kingdom Mandate

Dominion was the mandate which shaped the mindsets of the West for generations, (Tom Holland) and lay behind so much of the Christendom expansion from the 16th century onwards; yet it did much damage, not only affecting the lives of millions of individuals but also of nations.

Where did it begin?

In Genesis 1:28 we have a familiar scripture – ‘then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth’

The Kingdom of God and His dominion are inseparable, some even refer to the Kingdom as the ‘King’s domain.’ They are different ways of saying the same thing.

In our time, because this Kingdom is beginning to advance, the Spirit of God is freshly highlighting the mandate to take Dominion, given originally to Adam and Eve, and then released to the church by Jesus with His call ‘to go into all the world and make disciples…’  We stand on the edge of a new movement of and through God’s people to ‘take territory’ again, whether literally physical areas where darkness rules, or aspects of the spheres of influence that so affect our societies, bringing Revival and releasing the love, justice, righteousness and mercy of the King to our world.
