“The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give rain to your land in season, and to bless all the works of Your hands. You shall lend to many nations but you shall not borrow” Deuteronomy 28:12

Lord, we declare You desire as individuals and as a nation, we lend and not borrow.

In the Name of Jesus, we repent of past greed, the idolatry of wealth and of where our dependence and culture of debt, has become lifestyle and choice. We bless those struggling with balancing incomes and expenditures, and we declare those in genuine need, will be identified and provided for.

Lord, You prepared and positioned Joseph for a season of transition, now in the Name of Jesus as the Prime Minister changes and a new cabinet put in place, those and only those “discerning and wise” in Your eyes, will steward the resources of this nation.

We speak Your revelatory wisdom to those who work in the Government, Civil Service, Treasury and the Bank of England, that they will understand the complexities and be creative in thinking, walking in favour with God and man and we decree alignment of all decisions and directives according to Your plan and purpose, that this nation will not only be resilient in change but blessed.

In the Name of Jesus, we decree and declare in this nation businesses, industry and manufacturing will flourish, aided and strengthened by strategic and advantageous trade agreements. (Adapted from October 2017)
