As we continue unpacking this Kingdom Reset, I want to quote something I sent out in February 2019:
It is very clear from the gospels, that Jesus was really concerned that the “yeast of the Pharisees, Sadducees and Herodians” did not infect His church. Those three groups, the religious, the wealthy and the political, have historically held the power in many nations, and the key word is power – which is so often the DNA of the world systems. (Reaching back into that ungodly dominion mindset).
God’s word is very clear – Hebrews 12: 26-28 ‘yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heavens’ ….this indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken will remain.. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and fear’.
Resounding above all the circumstances right now, is the Kingdom call – this Kingdom which cannot be shaken. It is a day to pray for the Kingdom to come in all its glory and fullness, embracing the call for salvation, but also bringing righteousness, mercy, truth and justice to the earth. The DNA of God’s Kingdom is very different from the worlds systems and kingdoms, and yes, it is a Spiritual Kingdom, but it will touch and affect every part of society.
God’s key to a nation is His church and He is restoring and rebuilding the very foundations of His church, reminding and revisiting truths; healing, delivering and releasing – that in these days we will again be those who stand in our God given authority, to bind and to loose, to allow and to disallow – that the gates of hell will not prevail.
As everything shifts and moves, changes take place, and voids open up, God is calling His people to see from His perspective and stand in the assurance of His promises, His covenant and His blessings. To recognise and understand that we are those who have the potential to fill those voids with everything from love and hope to the righteousness, peace and justice of the Kingdom.
Jesus made the coming of the Kingdom His priority, and He told His disciples to ‘seek first the Kingdom of God’ and to pray, “Kingdom Come”.
Declaration
“The Lord is the Judge, the Lord is the Lawgiver, and the Lord is the King” Isaiah 33:22
We come into agreement with God’s word, that “righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne,” and we thank Him for His desire to release mercy and not judgment. We thank Him for those called in these days to come before Him as the righteous Judge, that past sins might be forgiven, and decrees changed.
We honour and we celebrate all that’s been done in past times by God’s people across this nation, church planting, mission, transformation and social care, but now we declare this is a different day. We decree and declare; God is taking His people back to the very roots and foundations of His gospel; releasing and empowering a people who will move in the mandate of this season – to make disciples of all nations.
We declare God’s desire for His Kingdom to be manifest is “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” We decree and declare as God’s Spirit moves in this season, His people across this land are becoming the fullness of who He has made them to be. We declare faith will increase and Godly vision will increase. We declare the Ekklesia will arise, and the reformers will take their places in every arena of this land. Ephesians 3:20.
We come into agreement with Romans 8:19 and we declare ‘the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.’ We declare in this day those who know the majesty and power of their God are arising – those who will walk with the power of His Presence upon them and in their true identity as both kings and priests.
