Government and Monarchy

“Give Your love of Justice to the King, O God, and righteousness to the King’s son. Help him judge your people in the right way; let the poor always be treated fairly. May the mountains yield prosperity for all, and may the hills be fruitful. Help him to defend the poor, to rescue the children of the needy, and to crush their oppressors. May they fear you as long as the sun shines, as long as the moon remains in the sky. Yes, forever”

In the Name of Jesus, we decree a fresh alignment of the words and thoughts of our leaders, local and national with His will, that in these days, ancient divisions from nation to nation, or region to region, will decrease and not increase, and necessary changes take place.  We specifically release healing into the North/ South divide, we ask forgiveness for the words that have been spoken from offence, fear or anger, and we ask for a spirit of reconciliation, that long standing wounds caused by political decisions or inequalities of lifestyle will not be exacerbated by current issues.

In the Name of Jesus, we agree in this nation, that every regional mindset, every parochial mindset, and every generational mindset will give way to the higher call upon this land.

Now Lord, we thank You for the life of our Queen, Elizabeth II, and we celebrate her heart for You and for her people, for the wisdom, righteousness and integrity reflected in her life, and for the respect she carries within this land.

We praise You for the model she has given, standing above political noise and personal pain, and in the Name of Jesus we continue to speak healing into her every wound.

In this Covid season, we specifically speak protection, strength and health to her and we decree and declare, this virus will not come near her or Prince Philip.

We come into agreement with the Coronation Act of 1688, establishing the Coronation Oath, taken by the Kings and Queens of this land, that they will, ‘to the utmost of their power, maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel.…’ and, with the  oath made on the occasion of her coronation by Queen Elizabeth 2nd in taking the title, ‘defender of the faith’. We cry out that this title will be ongoing, in promise and in action that the Godly leadership displayed by both the Queen and her father, will be continued and multiplied in the generations to come.

Lord, we thank You for Proverbs 14:27, ‘the fear of the Lord is a fountain of Life’ so in the Name of Jesus, we speak to this nation and we release a fresh revelation of God’s goodness, kindness and mercy into our land, divine encounters and revelations of His Father’s heart.
