“ O God, make the king a godly judge like you and give the king’s son the gift of justice too. Help him to give true justice to your people, …”” Psalm 72: 1,2
We thank you Jesus for the life of our Queen, Elizabeth II, and we celebrate the wisdom and righteousness which she carries, her heart for You, for her people and for the grace and commitment with which she carries out her duties. You bless us that we might bless others and so in the Name of Jesus, we speak blessing over the Queen’s life.
Lord, You desire that the Monarchy in this nation will display Your Righteousness, Your Wisdom and Your Majesty. We declare every shift and change taking place at this time, including the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will increase the display of Your Glory and we release Your love, Your thoughts, and Your values to them in the Name of Jesus. We speak life to every seed of Your gospel within them and we come into agreement with Your word in Deuteronomy 7: 9 “He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.” We decree and declare the Godly legacy of our Queen will go forward to the generations which follow.
Now, as preparations for the ceremony are finalised and speeches completed, we release Your Presence into St Georges Chapel, and we pray for Bishop Michael Bruce Curry, that he will speak with courage, clarity and sensitivity to Your Spirit, that Your Gospel will go forth.
As eyes turn towards Windsor at this time, and resources are channelled into the town, we speak Your protection to this and all places where people gather across the nation, that this nation will be a place of safety.
