Jesus is the King of Kings and the Lord of Glory, and we declare over this nation and over this election, ‘Your Kingdom come, Your will be done as it is in heaven.’
‘Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord.’ Psalm 33:12
In the Name of Jesus, we decree through this election, Parliament will come into God-given order and design, that on this the 12th Day of December 2019 – a day of divine fulfilment, God’s Government, purpose and plans will be established.
We do not look to man to save but rely upon God’s covenantal promise. We call upon people to respond to the desire of heaven and God’s Presence to rest upon our polling stations and communities, influencing both the turn out and the choices made.
We praise Him for the fullness of His plans for our land, and we declare on this day of turning for Parliament, those and only those appointed by God for this day, will lead this nation, those who will ‘accomplish all He pleases.’ We declare His Will be done, that those whom He has equipped, anointed and called for this new season will be both selected and elected.
As the vote is announced and the mantle given, we decree and declare the new administration will align with God’s Kingdom purposes, we call forth the new birth of Godliness, righteousness and justice within our Parliament and our nations, and declare its fruit will be seen across our land.
- We would like to suggest that for those who are able, we ‘break bread’ at 12, midday, or do something in keeping with your own church tradition, to celebrate the power of God’s covenant with each of us and our land.
- Following the results becoming clear on Friday: We decree and declare in this season, the church will come together afresh in love and oneness, that we will model God’s message of reconciliation and hope into our nation with power and sensitivity, that all communities divided through religion, culture, social status and political opinion will be healed in Jesus Name.
