As I mentioned last week: I have watched the shakings taking place around us, and we must position ourselves in the new. However, I felt there are moments to allow God to remind us of the fullness of His purpose for which we pray – that in the day to day battles we do not lose the ‘big picture’. I have therefore decided for a short time to re-release some early declarations, updated for today but I recognise that God is moving me, and the emphasis in my life is changing.
Psalm 45:6 “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Your Kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness.”
We declare righteousness and integrity will be required and honoured in all who desire to lead this nation.
In this strategic time for our Parliament, we decree and declare this government will demonstrate the Kingdom values of honour, righteousness and integrity, and they will be united behind God given vision.
Lord Jesus, we confess that past choices have caused men’s consciences to be seared and we cry out for a move of God across Parliament. We decree and declare our leaders will discern and remove corruption and wickedness in all its forms, according to Your Word. Proverbs 20:26; 1 Timothy 4:2
Now Lord, even as God’s Word states in Proverbs 29:18, “without redemptive revelation the people perish” (AMPC) we decree and declare this nation will have leaders who carry and impart God given vision, and we speak unity into Parliament to follow Your purpose and plan, that in this season of restoration – the redemptive purpose of the United Kingdom will be revered and restored.
We declare Your Voice is powerful and full of majesty, and we decree and declare Your Voice will emerge, sounding a distinct call, silencing every other voice and every other agenda, that both Houses will unite behind Your Kingdom purposes. (First Published 2017)
