We thank God for every promise He has given concerning Revival and Awakening in this nation. We praise Him for new levels of unity, for the depth of His word and the sensitivity to His Spirit which are increasing in our land. We praise Him for His hand upon this nation, for the place it has in His heart and for the purpose for which He has called it.

God has called this nation to display His righteousness, so in the Name of Jesus, we declare in this season the desire of audiences for truth, purity and righteousness will fuel a transformation of all aspects of media.

We declare truth will be valued and be both the expectation and experience of all generations, communities and social groups, and in the Name of Jesus, we speak light into every place, that lies and hidden bias will be revealed. We declare across all forms of media, truth will be handled appropriately, balanced by respect, wisdom and sensitivity.

Now we come into agreement with the foundation of truth inscribed upon the walls of Broadcasting House, “whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely…meditate on these things”, and we declare the winds of God’s Spirit are being released, that as His Spirit moves upon our land, media will become a tool in His hand for Godly transformation.

Now Lord, we decree and declare, those You have called and prepared will be positioned, that the seats of influence within the BBC will be filled by those You have chosen.  We specifically lift to You the role of Political Editor, as Laura Kuenssberg moves on, and we speak great wisdom to Deborah Turness as she takes the role of BBC News Chief Executive.
